CATLIN - Glenn George Miller, 70, of Catlin, passed away at 4:12 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 27, 2017 in Danville.
He was born on March 27, 1946, in Centralia, Ill., the son of George Henry and Dorothy Pauline King Miller. Survivors include one daughter, Leslie (John) Almy of Catlin and three grandchildren, Madeleine, Jillian, and Dawson.
Glenn graduated from the University of Illinois with a master's degree in education. He taught sixth grade at Catlin Grade School and then history and government at Catlin High School, before retiring in 1999. After college, he took up flying as a hobby. He then became a flight instructor at the airport in Perrysville, Ind.
Funeral service: 10 a.m. Friday, March 3, at Robison Chapel in Catlin with Chris Lawler officiating. Graveside service: 3 p.m. Friday, March 3, at Zion Hills Cemetery in Centralia, Ill.
