Carol Theresa Brown, 52, of Champaign, formerly of Danville, passed away at 7 a.m. Thursday at home. She was born in Danville, Feb. 26, 1964 the daughter of James E. and Vera W. (Morgan) Devore.
She graduated from Westville High School and attended Joliet Jr. College. She worked at Sager Hospital in Geriatrics until she became disabled in 1999. She is survived by one daughter, Bethany (Bri) Bowling of Danville; two grandsons Trey Long of Danville, Ryan M. Brown Jr. of Westville; one brother, Ed (Jamie) Devore of Danville; and her parents. She was preceded in death by her son, Ryan M. Brown.
Graveside service will be Monday Jan. 30 at 10 a.m. at Forest Park Cemetery in Georgetown. There will be a small memorial at Maple Grove Lodge at Forest Glenn from 12-4 p.m. Monday. Rortvedt Funeral Services & Crematory is assisting the family. Online condolences: www.rortvedtfuneralservices.com.
