Bruce Edward Hunt, 61, of Danville, passed away Friday May 19, 2017.
Visitation will be 10 a.m.-noon, Thursday May 25, at Pape Family Funeral Home, 10 E. Williams St., Danville. Services will follow at noon Thursday, May 25, at Pape's with Pastor Raymie Gordon officiating. Burial will follow at Songer Cemetery.
Bruce was born March 16, 1956, in Danville to Fredrick and Alice (Cadle) Hunt.
Bruce has worked for 20 years at KIK Custom Manufacturing. He was a NASCAR fan, along with being a diehard Steelers and Pirates fan. He founded the Henderson Street Social Club, along with AJ Schramm and Tony Fuentes.
When Bruce was in junior high school, he met Pat Clifton Douglas who became his best friend, and has been by his side for the past 26 years.
Survivors include his children, Tara (Harold) Baugh, Katie (Mike Islam) Vonlinger, Jason (Bobbie Lazzell) Phillips and Amanda (Steve Bloomfield) Douglas; brother, Butch (Cindy) Hunt; along with many grandchildren, nieces and nephews; along with two special cousins, Mike (Patti) Todd and Janice Hendricks; and two special friends Mike and Ron. Bruce was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents and two sisters, Nancy Wilkerson and Sharon Payne.
