Brenda D. Harden, 68, of Danville, passed peacefully at 5 a.m. July 27, 2016 at home surrounded by family. Brenda was born March 20, 1948, the daughter of Charles and Jeanette Haskins.
She is survived by her mother, Jeanette Haskins of Savoy; her two sisters, Jeanie Adams of Savoy and Cheryl Winn of Danville; a brother, David Haskins of Savoy; three children, Thomas (Misty) Harden of Danville, Kelly Gudgel of Attica, Ind. and Samantha (John Howe) Harden of Danville; nine grandchildren, James, Bobby, Jessica, Cinnamon, Jeremy, Sydney, Stone, Laura and Jake; eleven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a special niece, Kam Wells. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom; father, Charles "Bud" Haskins; a granddaughter, Lacy Fox; a special sister-in-law, Charlene Bolser; and several others not mentioned but not forgotten.
Brenda married Tom on Sept. 12, 1964, in Danville. She retired from Kmart after many years. She enjoyed working in the yard, crafts, reading and spending time with her grandkids.
