ANN ARBOR, Mich. - Bernard Courson, 62, formerly of Danville, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2016, in Ann Arbor, Mich.
He was born on May 14, 1954, in Danville. He was a graduate of Danville High School and Southern Illinois University.
Survivors include three brothers, Michael (Carol) Courson, David (Sandy) Courson, rural Danville, Larry (Joan) Courson of Dexter, Mich., and one sister, Kathy (Don) Deweese, Rossford, Ohio. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter L. and Josephine (Berg) Courson.
Ben was a financial consultant and co-owner of an investment firm for municipalities.
Ben's wishes were to be cremated. No visitation is planned. Graveside rites will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, at Sunset Memorial Park, Danville. Pastor Ed Stone will officiate.
