DANVILLE - Albert Donald Peck, 94, of Danville, Ill., passed away at 5:03 p.m. Monday, Nov. 8, 2016, at his home.
Albert was born June 5, 1922, in Tilton, Ill., the son of Albert and Helen Johnson Peck.
He married Pauline Ratcliff on May 12, 1945, in Indianapolis. She preceded him in death.
He will be missed by his daughters, Janet (Pat) Keefe and Betty Jo (Ron) Pataki; his sons, Mark Peck and Clint Peck; his sisters, Barbara Miller, Lois Miller and Linda Williby; his brother, Ron Hull; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and his dear friend Tom (Anna) Kukla. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Bill Peck and Bob Hull; a sister, Betty Dickson; and his grandson, Brad Pataki.
He loved his church family and enjoyed greeting them at the door every Sunday. He was a welder by trade and retired from Hyster. Throughout the years, he enjoyed CB radios, metal detecting, Volkswagens, target shooting and riding his motor scooter.
Memorial service: 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, at Friends Church in Georgetown.
