Aaron Tyrone Williams Sr., 58, of Georgetown, passed away at 5:10 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2016, at Loyola Hospital in Maywood. Aaron was born Oct. 18, 1957, in Danville, the son of Amos and Gertrude Williams.
He was a chef at Cahills Pancake House and had many hobbies. Aaron played on the Senior Bowling League at Lincoln Lanes. He was also an avid sports fan. Above all, Aaron enjoyed spending quality time with his family and friends.
Aaron leaves to cherish his loving memory his wife of 25 years, Michelle Denise Williams; his children, Sharoia Hill, Erica (James) McClyde, Tisha Croom, Skylar Lipscomb, Aaron (Emily) Williams, Trevor Williams, Troy Williams; and 12 grandchildren. Two brothers, Terry (Vanessa) Williams of California, Garry (Joyce) Williams of Danville. Two sisters, Nyrita (Lawrence) Parker and Joan (Chuckie) Robinson both of Danville and countless relatives and friends. A special niece Dimond Parker and two special uncles, Larry (Clemouth) Thomas and Frank (Linda) Williams. Special thanks to Cornell McIntosh.
Aaron was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; his brother, Larry McGee; two uncles, Andrew (Bubby) Williams, and Jack Williams.
A Celebration of Life will commence at noon Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2016, at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 311 North Collett Street, Danville. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. until the start of the service. Officiating will be Pastor Lucious Barber. A public viewing will commence from 1-3 p.m., Monday, Oct. 3, 2016, at Leek & Sons Funeral Home, 304 East Williams St., Danville.
