William R. Morris, 69, of Westville, passed away at 10:01 p.m. Thursday, November 16, 2017, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.
He was born November 15, 1948, in Danville, Ill., the son of Albert and Josephine (Karcavich) Morris.
He was united in marriage to Peggy Pepping on April 11, 1986. She survives.
Bill will be dearly missed by sons, Matt (Nicky) Morris, Jay (Mitzy) VanDuyn and Daren VanDuyn; daughters, Tori (Karl) Stokes and Kelli (Kary) VanDuyn; brothers, Joe (Jerri) Morris and Frank (Pat) Chantos; grandchildren, Kasey Stokes, Emma Morris, Jack Morris, Robert VanDuyn, Harley VanDuyn, Matthew Tansy and Abby Tansy; four great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephew and cousins; and beloved dog, Shelbi. He was preceded in death by parents; sister, Pat Burgin; brothers, Bob Chantos and Steve Chantos; great-granddaughter, Zoey VanDuyn.
He was a member of Westville Lions club. He enjoyed camping, traveling and visiting with his family and friends.
A celebration of Bill's life will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, November 21, at Sunset-Urbas Chapel, 414 S. State St., in Westville. Officiating will be Pastor Jim Blue. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
