Troy Thomas Duesterhoft, 29, of Danville, bravely battled seizures for 29 years before his passing on Monday, March 12, 2018, at home in his parents' arms.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday, March 15, 2018, at Pape Family Funeral Home, 10 E. Williams St., Danville. A memorial service will be held around his birthday in June.
Troy was born June 25, 1988, in Danville to Tom and Joyce (Boswell) Duesterhoft.
He loved his military, music and movies, loved staying at hotels, parties and hanging out with friends.
He was a faithful Christian. He was handicapped, but when it came to giving and receiving love, his cup runneth over. He was a big boy, but his heart was so much bigger.
Troy is survived by his parents; grandparents, Ted and Cheryl Duesterhoft, Lois and Paul Boswell Sr., and Dorothea McKelvey; and will be dearly missed by numerous other family and friends, especially his buds Harv and Holly.
Messages and memories may be left on our website at www.papefuneral.com, or on the Pape Family Funeral Home Facebook page.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Troy's name to the Epilepsy Foundation or Tuberous Sclerosis Foundation.
