Thomas L. Fisher, 34, of Olivet, passed away at 9:46 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 18, 2018, at his home. He was born Nov. 4, 1983, the son of Tommy and Debra Fisher.
Thomas was employed at Middlefork and Georgetown school districts. He also did lawn care, home repairs and other odd jobs. He felt he gained a lot of knowledge through the wide variety of jobs he did. Thomas liked to tinker and fix lawn mowers and different tools. He also enjoyed video games and model trains. Above all else, he loved spending time with his children, friends and family.
Thomas is sadly missed by everyone that knew him, his friends and family, including his special Aunt Violet Jennette Fisher of Los Angeles, Calif., and his very close and special grandfather Larry Wise, and especially his children, Mya and Riley, as well as his roommate and coworker, Justin Scott.
He will also be dearly missed by his mother, Debra (Lloyd) Stark; his grandfather, Larry Wise; his children, Riley and Mya Fisher; their mother, Mandy Huls; his brothers, Eric Stark, Drew Stark, John Fisher and Kenny Fisher; his sisters, Felisha Stark, Chelsee Wilson, Natalie Williams and Ebony Giles; and is 18 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Tommy (Ann) Fisher; his maternal grandmother, Wilma Wise; his paternal grandparents, Dora and John Fisher; and his brother, Lucas Stark.
A celebration of Thomas' life will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018, at Sunset's Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, 200 E. West Street, Georgetown, with Pastor James Blue officiating. Visitation will be held 4 p.m. - 7 p.m., Friday, Jan. 26, 2018, at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest in Vermilion Grove Cemetery, Ridge Farm.
