Sheila M (Watson) Huxted, 72, of Danville.
Sheila was born Feb. 17, 1944, in San Antonio, Texas, the daughter of Robert J. Watson and Olive A. (Dupree) Watson. She is widowed from her late husband Gary D Huxted of Palmetto, Fla.
Survivors includes one daughter, Angela L. Coburn; two sons, Kent D. Coburn, and Jason F. (Paula) Coburn; four sisters, Nancy (David) Williams, Candice (Robert) Steele, Sunday (Mike Fleming) Sare, Mickey (Scott) Mcclure; one brother, Robert (Rose) Watson; three grandchildren, Amber Coburn, Joshua Coburn and Bailee Coburn. She was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Kathleen J (Thomas) Coburn.
Sheila was a communicant of Church of the Holy Trinity. She was a Red Hats member and a member of The Moose Lodge. She enjoyed live music, dancing with her friends, horse racing, and listening to Danville High School football games. Sheila enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and most of all her grandchildren. Sheila was known to be extremely kind, generous and giving to everyone she met.
Funeral Mass will be at the Church of the Holy Trinity at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31, with Father Dave Wells officiating. Visitation will be at the Church from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. prior to the Mass. Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery.
