Sharon's Story

Sharon Miller, 81, of Danville, passed away November 26, 2017, at her home.
Sharon was born January 31, 1936, in Paxton, Ill., a daughter of George and Ruby (Reynolds) Norman.
She married Hank Miller on July 21, 1978, in St. Lois, Mo.
She is survived by three children, Shirley Evans of Paxton, Ill., Jacque Snow (Bill Collins) of Danville, and Sam Miller (Kellena Miller) of Danville; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hank; her parents; five brothers; four sisters; two daughters, Cheryl and Tami; and granddaughter Sarah.
Sharon retired from the Department of Veterans Affairs, where she was employed as a nurse. Sharon also spent many of her years employed in nursing homes. She was always called upon by her many neighbors and friends for her nursing skills.
Sharon enjoyed fishing, camping, crafts, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
No services are scheduled as per her request; her body will be donated to science.
