Sally Dickirson, 97, of McLeansboro, passed away 1:02 a.m. Friday, Nov. 6, 2015, at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro. She was born July 26, 1918, in Lawrenceville, the daughter of Herbert and Anna (Wright) Walters. She married Dale Dickirson in 1938 in Kentucky; he preceded her in death in May of 1970. She is survived by daughter, Vicki Thomason of McLeansboro; three granddaughters, Teresa (Robin) Webb, Tammy (Joe) Harris and Sally Walker; two grandsons, Dale Feuquay and Daniel (Shirlina) Feuquay; 11 great-grandchildren, Courtney (Bobby) Robertson, Callie Webb (Adam Johnson);, Corey Webb, Cord Webb, Krysten Harris, Mary M’Lynn Feuquay, Nathan Feuquay, Sierra Barker, Slade Walker, Adam Slaydon and Shaley Diaz; and great-great-grandchildren, Elijah, Axton, Laiyten, Charliey, Aiden, Eli and Baby Jackson due anytime. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and daughter, Linda Feuquay. She was a restaurant owner. Sally was a member of the Order of Eastern Star. Her passion was Dickirson’s Drive Inn. She was of the Methodist faith. Graveside services were held 2 p.m. Tuesday at IOOF Cemetery in McLeansboro with the Rev. Ken Cook officiating. Interment will be at IOOF Cemetery in McLeansboro. Visitation was held from noon until the time of service Tuesday at Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro. For those who wish, memorials may be made to the donor’s choice. Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro is in charge of all arrangements.
