Russell L. Hutchcraft, 55, of McLeansboro, died 6:42 p.m. Sunday, April 10, 2016, at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis. He was born July 11, 1960, in Joliet, the son of William Y. and Marcella F. (Coberly) Hutchcraft. He is survived by his sons, William B (wife Ester) Hutchcraft of McLeansboro, David Hutchcraft of McLeansboro and Christopher Hutchcraft of McLeansboro; a daughter, Rebecca Crow of McLeansboro; brothers and sisters, Clinton Hutchcraft of Dahlgren, Mark Farthing of McLeansboro, Sonny Brothers of Centralia, Minnie Carter of West Frankfort, Norma Lee of Fairfield, Sandra Irene Scott of Mt. Vernon, Jackie Britt of Oran, Mo., Betty Slane of West Frankfort, Darlene Thompson of Illinois and Marty of Illinois; grandchildren Savannah, Kimberly, Danielle, Audrey and one on the way. He served in the Army National Guard and was a volunteer for the McLeansboro Fire Department. He worked as a forklift operator General Tire plant, Mt. Vernon. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, April 16, at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro with the Rev. Merle Fullerton officiating. Burial will be at Farnsworth Cemetery near Keenes. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro. Gholson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
