I know Rick will be missed by everyone who knew him. I pray for his wife and family as they say good-bye to him. But, it is just for awhile as they will join him one day in Heaven. I am so glad Rick is out of pain now and will reside forever and ever in Heaven with his Heavenly Father. I will be thinking of you all as you say good-bye tomorrow. Love, Susan and Kenny Hobbs

My heart goes out to you Aunt Roxanne, Bruce, Robyn and our family for the loss of Uncle Rick. Losing him has wounded us deeply. I will always cherish memories of him and remember all the fun times. When I was a kid and our family went to visit family in Illinois, Uncle Rick always spent time with us and made us laugh. One of my favorite memories was when he built a mini golf course in the back yard. As I grew up, he was also very encouraging and it meant so much when he said he believed in me and what I could accomplish in life. That meant a lot and I never forgot it. I remember the summer I was in second grade and I stayed with Grandma. I always looked forward to Uncle Rick coming there f...or lunch on his work break. He was a hard working man. He was a good person and very proud father of you Bruce and Robyn. He very much loved being a grandpa too. In his last years of his health challenges, Uncle Rick fought hard to survive and have some more time with his loved ones. I admire him for giving his all. Aunt Roxanne, thank you for loving him all these years and being his best friend. I am praying for you every day. Sending you, Robyn and Bruce the biggest hugs from Texas. I so wish I could be there with you. Just know the distance doesn't change how much I love and care about you.
Sincerely,
Angie

Rick even though you were my uncle it felt more like cousins because we were so close in age. You were always into sports even at a young age. You left me with many memories that I will never forget. Your journey here has ended but your memories are here forever. R.I.P. my friend.
