Reneé's Story

Text size

Reneé Ann Wright, 44 of Danville, went Home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at 3:24 p.m. at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.
A visitation will be 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, December 16, 2017, at New Life Church of Faith, 1419 N. Bowman, Danville. Services will follow at noon with Pastors Thomas Miller and Dave Leary officiating. Reneé will be laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery following services.
Reneé was born on March 2, 1973, in Danville to Leonard Earl and Phyllis (Stephens) Allen Jr.
She attended Danville grade schools and Danville High School, graduating in 1991. Reneé then went on to attend Butler University, Purdue University and Alfred State in New York. She graduated with multiple associate and bachelor degrees.
Reneé worked for 18 years at Presence USMC as a pharmacy technician and medical coder. In 1993, Reneé and her husband, Frank, opened Wright's Heating and Air, and as the two worked together, side by side, for the past 10 years, the business has flourished.
Reneé had a heart and faith that was unshakeable and one that we could all hope to have for ourselves. She was a member of Grape Creek Baptist Church, and prior to that Calvary Baptist Church for several years.
She held numerous affiliations, memberships, and titles throughout the community but was probably best known for her involvement with The Carver Park Bears and her work with The Danville AMBUCS "Give Where You Live."
Reneé made it her life's goal to organize fun for everyone who knew her, and euchre tournaments, trips to Chicago, Indianapolis and Mexico, and family get-togethers will stay in the hearts of her family and close friends. She was, is, and always will be, her children's biggest cheerleaders in all that they have and will do in life from football to hockey and dance to martial arts; Reneé was the loudest and strongest fan.
Reneé married Frank Wright on June 20, 1992 at Calvary Baptist Church in Tilton, and the two have shared over 25 years of fun, love, and laughter, and will share an eternity together in Heaven. Survivors include their children, Faith and Joshua Wright; her mother, Phyllis Allen; her fur prince, Clyde; two brothers, Kevin (Jamie) Allen Sr. and Paul (Chelle) Roberts; and six nieces and nephews, Kevin Allen, Stephanie Allen, Amanda Roberts, Careth Klewicki, Brittany Wright and Jacob Wright. She also will be greatly missed and live on in the hearts of hundreds of close friends and extended family. She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents; her father, Leonard Allen Jr.; a niece, Brittney Allen; and a cousin, Jamie Yanders Sternberger.
Messages and memories may be left on our website at www.papefuneral.com, or on the Pape Family Funeral Home Facebook page. Memorials may be made in Reneé's memory to The Carver Park Bears or Danville AMBUCS.
