CAYUGA, Ind. - Paul R. "Dick" Keller, 81, of Cayuga, passed away at 6:58 p.m. EDT Sunday, May 12, 2019, at Union Hospital Clinton in Clinton, Ind.
He was born January 9, 1938, in Russellville, Ind., the son of the late Willard and Louella Morris Keller.
He married Leona "Sis" White on June 17, 1961, at Cayuga Christian Church by Rev. James Mackey. She survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Brian Keller of Cayuga, Ind., and Brad (Melissa) Keller of West Terre Haute, Ind.; four granddaughters; one grandson; three great-granddaughters; one great-grandson; one sister, Dora Koma of Montezuma, Ind.; two brothers, Don (Terry) Keller and Larry (Carla) Keller, both of Montezuma, Ind. Dick was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.
Dick was a 1957 graduate of Montezuma High School. He served six years in the Army National Guard as a staff sergeant E-5. He retired from Bohn Heat Transfer in 1995 after 33 years and later retired again from Stem International in 2008.
Dick enjoyed hunting and collecting prehistoric Native American artifacts for over 50 years. He also enjoyed bow and gun hunting, yardwork, gardening and riding four wheelers with all his friends.
Funeral services: 10 a.m. EDT Friday, May 17, at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Ind. Burial: Miller Cemetery in Lodi, Ind. Visitation: 5-8 p.m. EDT Thursday, May 16, at the funeral home.
