DANVILLE, Ill. - Patsy K. Mathis, 76, of Danville, passed away at 5:10 a.m. CST Saturday, February 24, 2018, at Gardenview Manor in Tilton, Ill.
She was born September 21, 1941, in Indianapolis, the daughter of the late Harold and Mackie (Boyd) Brown.
She married Orval W. Mathis on April 21, 1986, in Newport, Ind. He survives.
Other survivors include her children, Greg A. Apple of Covington, Ind., Linda (Chris) Smith of Perrysville, Ind., Art (Karen) Apple of Amherst, Neb., and Cindy March of Crawfordsville, Ind.; stepchildren, Johnny Mathis of Westville, Ill., Paul (Marina) Mathis of Chicago, Mike (Chris) Mathis of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Lisa (Shawn) Howard of Covington, Ind.; 10 grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Patsy Anglemyer of Danville; and brother-in-law, Bob Hardy of Orlando, Fla.
Patsy was a homemaker. She enjoyed making ceramics and writing poetry.
Private family graveside services will be at Lower Mound Cemetery north of Perrysville, Ind. Visitation: 5-8 p.m. EST Wednesday, February 28, at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Ind.
