Norman's Story

Norman was a longtime resident of the Owasso-Collinsville Oklahoma area, was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 6, 2017. He was born in Hamilton County, Illinois to Calvin and Frances (Tennyson) Huffstutler. On April 26, 1956, he and Marilyn coy were united in marriage in the First Baptist Church of Belle Prairie, IL. Norman was truck driver for forty years prior to retirement. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Owasso and enjoyed hunting, fishing and John Deere Tractors.
Survivors that hold many cherished memories include his wife of 61 years, Marilyn, their son Mike and wife Rita Huffstutler of Nowata, OK; grandson Coy and wife Andrea of Odessa, TX and great grandchildren Mason Angle, Cole, Emery and Eli Huffstutler. Also surviving is a brother Lowell and wife Jill Huffstutler of McLeansboro, IL; sister-in-law Lucina Coy of McLeansboro, IL; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services were held July 10, 2017 in the Mowery Funeral Service chapel in Owasso with his Pastor, Chris Wall officiating. Norman was laid to rest in the Graceland Memorial Park Cemetery, Owasso, OK.. .
