Nathan "Nate"'s Story

Nathan "Nate" Louis Robinson, 47, of Columbus, Ohio, formerly of Danville, passed this life at 12 a.m. Feb. 28, 2017 at his residence.
Nate, also affectionately known as "Lil Man", was born Sept. 15, 1969, in Danville, to Andrew Shouse and Nettie Robinson Edwards. Nate graduated from Danville High School and attended Danville Area Community College. Nate was currently employed as a truck driver and previously worked construction. He enjoyed sports, music, fishing and loved the North End Neighborhood. He could be seen walking around the neighborhood patrolling and smiling.
Nate leaves to cherish his loving memory his mother, Nettie Edwards; two sons: Brandon Robinson and Andrew Robinson; one grandson; his siblings: JoAnne (Willie) Morris, Diane Robinson, David Robinson, Tamicka Edwards; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Robert Hunter.
A Celebration of Life will commence at 12 noon, Thursday, March 9, at New Life Church of Faith, 1419 North Bowman Ave., Danville. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. until the start of the service.
