Marcus D. Neal, 51, of Danville Ill., who resided in Hartford City, Ind., passed away at 4:19 a.m. Friday, September 29, 2017, at Ball Memorial Hospital with his family by his side.
He was born October 26, 1965, in Danville. Marcus was the son of Arthur and Mandy Neal.
He was united in marriage to Gerri (Clark) Neal on June 26, 1990.
Marcus was the father of Marcus Priest of Tilton Ill., Matthew (Kayla) Neal of Hartford City Ind., Mariah Neal also of Hartford City Ind.; two added kids, Max Gorham and Andrea Brookshire of Selma Ind.; two grandchildren and an added grandchild; a sister, Trina Judy of Potomac Ill.; a brother, Rodney Neal of Danville.
Marcus was preceded in death by his mother, Mandy Neal; father, Arthur Neal; brothers Arthur Neal Jr. and Gregory Neal; sister Kimberly Neal; and his grandparents.
Marcus loved his career as a PLC engineer. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking as hobbies. Most of all, Marcus loved spending time with his family and worshiping our father.
A Celebration of Life Service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 5, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 3940 N. Vermilion St., Danville. Officiating will be Johnny Crane. Visitation will be noon -2 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery in Danville.
