WESTVILLE - Lucette D. Liggett, 94, of Westville, Ill., passed away at 11:55 p.m. Thursday, December 21, 2017, at Colonial Manor Nursing Home, Danville, Ill.
Lucette was born on January 20, 1923, in Henin-Lietard, France, to Marcel and Irene LeGrand Duvivier.
She married Merle Liggett on November 30, 1947, in Newtown, Ill. He preceded her in death on May 26, 2002.
Surviving are three sons, Patrick (Patti) Liggett of Newton, Miss., Gary (Theresa) Liggett of Westville, and Rick (Linda) Liggett of Madison, Ala.; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Susan (Terry) Wigginton of Owensboro, Ky. She was preceded in death by her son, Dennis Liggett; and one sister, Bertha Vinson.
Lucette worked at General Electric, Peterson & Puritan, and was a longtime cook at Westville High School. She was an avid bowler and golfer, enjoyed dancing at the Elks Club, and loved playing euchre.

Funeral services: noon Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at Robison Chapel, Catlin, Ill., with Pastor James Blue officiating. Burial in Sunset Cemetery, Danville. Visitation: 11 a.m.-noon Wednesday, December 27, at Robison Chapel, Catlin, Ill.
