Linda K. Page, 66, of Mount Vernon, Illinois passed away at 10:28 A.M. August 16, 2017 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon, Illinois. She was born August 22, 1950 in Mount Vernon, Illinois to Stewart A. and Betty Marie (Jones) Bean. Linda married Ronald A. Page on February 1, 1975 in Mount Vernon, Illinois. They were blessed with 42 years of marriage.
Linda is survived by her husband, Ronald Page of Mount Vernon, Illinois; father, Stewart Bean of Mount Vernon, Illinois; sons, Matthew Page of Indianapolis, Indiana and Justin Page and wife, Michelle of Mount Vernon, Illinois; grandchildren, Ryan Wellmaker, Madison Wellmaker, Zoe Wellmaker, and Jake Page; siblings, Sue Davenport and husband, Marty of Murray, Kentucky, Paula Hampton and husband, David of Mount Vernon, Illinois, and Randy Bean of Mount Vernon, Illinois; sister-in-law, Leslie Phillips and husband, Randy of Mount Vernon, Illinois; and several niece, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Bean.
Linda was a member of Central Christian Church where she served as a Sunday School teacher, youth sponsor, and various other roles in the church. She also served on the C.E. Brehm Library Board for 14 years. Linda was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution and was very active in the IEA-NEA Teachers Union. She was a teacher for 35 years at Ina Grade School and was very well respected by her coworkers and students. Linda enjoyed doing crafts, cooking, and studying genealogy of her family. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Linda was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew her.

Funeral Service: Monday, August 21, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois with Mr. Randy Sells officiating. Interment: Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens in Woodlawn, Illinois. Memorials: Central Christian Church Food Pantry or the C.E. Brehm Library Shakespeare Club.
