Julie Ann Jackson, 83, of Danville, passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2017.
Visitation will be from 10-noon, Monday, May 1, at Pape Family Funeral Home, 10 E. Williams Street, in Danville. Services will be at noon on Monday at Pape's with Pastor Wade Martin officiating.
Julie was born Nov. 27, 1933, in Georgetown. Her mother, Minnie (Griskell) Weaver, and step-father, Raymond Weaver, preceded her. She enjoyed playing bingo, playing cards, loved her cats and spending time with her kids and grandkids
Julie married Donald Jackson on Feb. 15, 1950, in Danville, he preceded her in death on Oct. 13, 2012. Survivors include her children: David (Connie) Jackson, Cindy (Butch) Hunt, Kathy Lappin, Terri (Jeff) Dalbey, and Donette (Brent) Hagen; sister: Marion (Sam) Palmer; special sister-in-law: Barbara DeVore; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sons: Robin Jackson and Steven Jackson; son-in-law, Dick Lappin; brother, Ralph Weaver; and two grandchildren.
