Judith Ann (Judy) Torri, 77, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 22, 2017, in Naperville, IL.
Judy was born and raised in Peru, IL, the daughter of John and Rita Oresar and sister to Jeannie (Taliani), who all proceeded her in death.
She was the beloved wife of John Torri. They were blessed with 53 years of marriage, residing in Peoria, IL, Washington, IL, Danville, IL, and Hilliard, OH, before retiring to Naperville, IL.
Judy touched many lives in these communities as a teacher, volunteer, office manager, church member, friend, and neighbor. She will be remembered for her smile, compassion, a genuine commitment to her friends, and her hugs.
She was happiest spending time with family and friends, playing games, watching whales, and tending to the needs of others.
Judy is survived by her husband, John, and her children Rick (Kelli Aker), Dave (Kara), and Michelle (Lester) de Peralta and her grandchildren Jordan, Chloe, Maren, and Nolan.
Visitation and celebration of her life will take place at 10am on Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at St Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 1500 Brookdale Rd., Naperville, IL 60563 followed by a funeral mass at 11am.
