Janice Ilene Foster Davis, 77, of Danville, passed away Tuesday September 26, 2017.
A memorial service is planned at 1 p.m. Monday, October 2, at Danville First Church of the Nazarene, 2212 N. Vermilion St., Danville, with Pastor Dave Anderson officiating.
Janice was born February 16, 1940, in Armstrong, Ill., to Guy and Nellie (Baker) Foster.
Janice was very active with the Danville First Church of the Nazarene, and loved the Lord. She was known and loved by many and always left a lasting impression on whomever she met.
Janice had a special place in her heart for animals and had many special pets throughout her lifetime. She worked at and retired from the Humane Society. She also loved to read, travel, do arts and crafts and make dollhouses, but most of all loved to extend a helping hand to anyone in need.
Janice married Peter Davis on May 26, 1979, and was married for almost 34 years until his passing in 2013.
She leaves behind her sisters-in-law, Mary (Jack) Foster and Elizabeth (Gene) Foster, and many loved nieces and nephews, along with many treasured friendships. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Jack, Gene and Theodore Foster.
