CHRISMAN - Henry R. Robison, 93, of Mt. Home, Ark., formerly of Chrisman, passed away at 2:55 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2016 at Manor Care in Mt. Home.
Henry was born March 21, 1923, in rural Chrisman, to James P. and Cora Ingram Robison. Survivors include his longtime companion of 27 years, Wanda Bledsoe; one son, Gerry Robison; two daughters, Keri Dunaway and Merry Brown; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, John, Forrest, Raymond Dale, and James, as well as his sisters, Melva, Julia, Pauline, Rosemary.
"Hank" considered himself a "Country Poet", and was an accomplished song writer and poet. He enjoyed music and dancing, as well a traveling. He served as a paratrooper in the South Pacific in WWII.
Funeral service: 11 a.m. Monday at Robison Chapel in Catlin, Pastor Curtis Flake to officiate. Burial with full military honors by Chrisman American Legion Post 477 will follow in Woodland Cemetery at Chrisman. Visitation is from 10 a.m. till 11 a.m. at Robison Chapel in Catlin.
