Henrietta Denise Bryant, 54, of Danville, transitioned from Earth to Glory on Thursday, Sept. 22, 2016, 10:50 a.m. at Carle Hospital, Urbana, with her loving family by her side.
Henrietta was born Dec. 21, 1961, in Danville, the daughter of D.C. Keys and Delores Jones. She was previously married to Charles (Judie) Bryant. She attended Danville schools and worked as a housekeeper at Colonial Manor.
Henrietta's love of her Savior and Lord was something she truly lived in her heart and shared with many.
Her hobbies included shooting pool, playing bingo, reading, playing cards, and cooking. She was a social butterfly that enjoyed laughing and living life with her family and friends. She had a very caring and giving heart.
Henrietta leaves to cherish her memory: eight brothers, William Jones of Hawaii, Thomas (Stephanie) Jones, Stanley Porter, Kenneth (Ginene) Porter, DeWillie (Veronica) Keys, Truman (Carolyn) Keys, Bobby (Rose) Keys, and Jimmy Keys all of Danville; five sisters, Delores Jones-Daubaris (Donatas), Stacey (Shawn) Chapman, Karen (Terry) Forman, Vickie (Randy) Westley, Brenda (Leslie) Fisher, and sister-in-law, Gayle (Junior) Keys all of Danville; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and close special friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Annette Jones and Joyce Wilkerson; sister-in-law, Veronica Keys; four brothers, Abe Jones, Warren Keith Jones, Junior Lee Keys, and Timothy Keys; and brother-in-law, Richard Woodard.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, at New Jerusalem Church of Jesus Christ Outreach Ministries, 1033 North Walnut Street, Danville. Pastor Bobby R. Keys Sr., officiating. Condolences and memorials may be sent by accessing www.leekandsonsfuneralhome.com.
