Gayle Ann Wade, 56, of Newman, Ill., and formerly of Chrisman, Ill., passed Thursday, October 12, 2017, at Newman Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.
Gayle was born January 31, 1961, in Paris, Ill., to Bruce Lewis and Thelma Gale (Pollman) Bright.
She previously worked as a CNA and was a member of Pleasant Mound Church of Christ in Georgetown.
Gayle was very creative and had many artistic talents including painting, drawing, sewing and leatherwork. She also enjoyed cooking.
She is survived by two children, Michael (Jessica) Tyler of Ridge Farm, Ill., and Amanda Wade of Georgetown, Ill.; a brother, Bruce Lewis (Michellee) Bright Jr. of Paris, Ill.; two sisters, Marty Sue Clarkston of Catlin, Ill., and Dixie Lee Bennett of Hopedale, Ill.; and four grandchildren, Michael D. Tyler, Makiyah Tyler, Sarah Tyler and Layla Wade. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Bernie Bennett.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Monday, October 16, at Krabel Funeral Home in Chrisman. Visitation will be held for two hours prior to the service, beginning at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Young America Cemetery.
