Gary E. Duncan, 73, of McLeansboro, died 2:07 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015, at Hamilton Memorial Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in McLeansboro. He was born Oct. 11, 1941, in Pontiac, Mich., the son of George and Myrtle (Wisser) Duncan. He is survived by his mother, Myrtle Duncan of McLeansboro; two sons, Terry Duncan of San Francisco who is working as an airline mechanic for Continental-United Airlines and Larry Duncan of Benton; a daughter, Debra Sue Wyant of Akin; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, a brother and two sisters. He was a retired auto mechanic. Funeral services were held 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6, at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro with the Rev. Robert Sefried officiating. The visitation was held from 5 p.m. until the time of services on Tuesday, Oct. 6, at Gholson Funeral Home. Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro is in charge of all of the arrangements.
