Fay Isabelle Tolley, 80, of Versailles, Ky., and formerly of McLeansboro, died Sunday, Aug. 9, 2015, in her home in Versailles. She was born May 2, 1935, in Hamilton County, the daughter of Lawrence Tolley and Cartha (Sutton) Tolley. She is survived by a sister, Mary Foley and husband Roy of McLeansboro; two sisters-in-law, Wilma DeHaven and Dorotha Tolley of McLeansboro; a brother-in-law, Clyde Brymer; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Dean, Marvin and Ray Tolley; and a sister, Helen Brymer. She was a retired nurse. She attended Grant’s School of Nursing in Chicago as well as the University of Florida. She was a member of Trinity Methodist Church in Gainesville, Fla. A private family memorial service was held Saturday, Aug. 29, 2015, at Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro. Mark Morris conducted and spoke at the service. A family burial of ashes was conducted at IOOF Cemetery in McLeansboro following the memorial service. Memorials may be given to the charity of your choice in memory of Fay Tolley and will be accepted at Harre Funeral Home. Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro is in charge of all of the arrangements.
