Donnetta Mosier, 79, of Indianola, passed away at 8:25 p.m. Wednesday, November 8, 2017, at Colonial Manor Nursing Home, Danville.
She was born July 27, 1938, in Clinton, Ind., the daughter of Ray and Thelma (Curry) Wallace.
Donnetta will be missed by her daughter, Betty (Rick) Mosier-Johnson of Tilton; her sons, Bob (Lisa Boen) Mosier and Randy Mosier, both of Indianola, and Roger Mosier of Horace; three sisters, Norma of Bloomington, Ind., Sharon Vorek of Clinton, Ind., and Deeann Bennett of West Baden, Ind.; her grandchildren, Sarah, Blaise, Clayton, Jena, Jacob, Kyle, Laura and Ryan; her seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, a sister, a nephew, and one granddaughter.
Donnetta was from Centenary, Ind., and graduated from Clinton High School in Indiana in 1956. She was a loving mother and grandmother to her family and a friend to everyone she met. She retired from the U.S. Postal Service after working for more than 30 years.
She will be missed by all who loved her. The family would like everyone to dress casual for services.
A celebration of Donnetta's life will be at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 14, at Sunset's Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, 200 E. West St., Georgetown, with Pastor James Blue officiating. Visitation will be 10:30 a.m.-noon Tuesday prior to her service at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery, Indianola.
