Donna Sue Bennett, 76, of McLeansboro, passed away 11:50 p.m. Saturday, May 20, 2017, at Cumberland Rehabilitation Center in Greenup.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday, May 26, 2017, at Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro.
Funeral will be 12 p.m. Friday, May 26, at Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro with the Rev. Gale Lowery officiating. Burial will be at Antioch Cemetery, near Macedonia.
She was born March 30, 1941, in Macedonia, the daughter of Don Hamilton and Dulca (Hines) Hamilton. She married Robert Lee Bennett on Feb. 6, 1976, at Olive Branch Baptist Church near Wayne City. He passed away on Oct. 12, 2014.
She was a homemaker and member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. She loved to fish and travel and work with crocheting.
She is survived by daughter, Dawn Marie Frick and husband Jeremy of Crossville; brothers-in-law, Roy Bennett and wife Bobbie of Greenup, Kenny Willis and wife Wilma of McLeansboro, and Kenneth Darnell of McLeansboro; sister-in-law, Mary Tennyson of McLeansboro; five grandchildren, Alexa, Akira, Alana, Ariana and David Frick; and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; sister, Dewetta Darnell; and a baby brother
Harre Funeral Home of McLeansboro is in charge of all arrangements.
