ELKHART, Ind. - Delores L. Dodson, 83, of Catlin, Ill., died December 15, 2017, at Elkhart General Hospital in Elkhart.
She was born April 1, 1934, in Veedersburg, Ind., to Harry and Faunile (Hankins) Warrick. She attended Veedersburg schools.
She married William Willett in 1950. She later married Claude Dodson in Danville, Ill., on July 16, 1976.
She is survived by a brother, Ron (Charlotte) Warrick of Las Cruces, N.M.; three children, Monty (Cathy) Willett of Elkhart, Ind., Robin (Bruce) Setser of Evansville, Ind., and Alesa (Rachel) Rosenfeld of Charlotte, N.C.; two stepchildren, Dean Dodson of Indianapolis, and Ruth Anne Moore of Pensacola, Fla. She also is survived by 21 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was proceeded in death by her parents; her sister, Dina Riegle; a daughter, Diana O'Keefe; and a son, William Willett.
Delores worked for 15 years at the former General Electric plant in Danville. She also worked at Old Tucson during the time she and Claude lived in Arizona before they returned to live in Catlin.
She enjoyed spending time with friends and family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed shopping and discussing politics, family and world events.
Per her wishes, she was cremated. A celebration of Delores' life will begin at 3 p.m. Saturday, January 13, at Southside Nazarene Church, 1629 King St., Tilton, Ill., with Pastor Chuck Hess officiating.
