DANVILLE - Deborah Kay Taylor, 63, of Danville, passed away at 2:50 p.m. January 15, 2018, at Presence Covenant Medical Center in Urbana.
Deborah was born on May 7, 1954, in Attica, Ind., the daughter of Robert and Betty (Onley) Moody.
She married James Taylor on November 6, 1981, in Danville, Ill. He survives.
Survivors include her husband, James Taylor of Danville; two sons, Dennis (Angela) Burchfield of Danville, and Michael Burchfield of Danville; one stepson, Todd Taylor of Danville; one stepdaughter, Jamie Taylor of Danville; two sisters, Marylin Moody of Danville, and Carolyn Troxel of Danville; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Deborah is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Bobby Moody.
Deborah was a CNA at Danville Care and later the VA Illiana Health Care System, where she retired after 17 years of service. She enjoyed crocheting, fishing, family outings and spending time with her grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 20, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 3940 N. Vermilion St., Danville. Kurt Sovine and Brian Blackford will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park in Danville. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday, January 19, at the funeral home.
