DANVILLE - Our angel has flown to heaven to walk hand in hand with her dad and sister Sharon. Debbie Ann Barnes Catron, 64, of Danville, lost her eight-year struggle with Transverse Myelitis on Wednesday, October 12, 2017.

Debbie attended Elmwood School, Cannon School, East Park and Danville High School. She received her Bachelor's and Master's in Education and Teaching Administration from Eastern Illinois University. Her passion was teaching. She taught in District 118 for 35 years, first grade at Roselawn and fourth grade at Garfield School.
