PERRYSVILLE, Ind. - David S. Miller, 55, of Perrysville, was called home at 1:43 p.m. EST Thursday, Dec. 14, 2017, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Ind.
David was born Dec. 10, 1962, in Danville, Ill., the son of Cloyd "Bill" and Nancy (Maxwell) Miller, Sr.
David married Karen Ronna in 1983. She survives.
Other survivors include his son, Caleb Miller of Perrysville, Ind.; one grandson, Dravin of Cayuga; brother, Cloyd (Amy) Miller of Gessie; in-laws, Betty Maxwell of Kellogg, Idaho, Alice McGuire and MaryAnn Acord both of Danville, Ill., Richard (Marsha) Ronna of Pekin, Ill., Dale (Mary) Ronna of Milford, Ill., Beverly (Carl) Koester of Gilman, Ill., and Carol (Todd) Guy of Racine, Wis., and several nieces and nephews.
David was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Rocky D. Miller and infant Rusty D. Miller; two brothers, Wayne Maxwell and Patrick Miller.
David was retired from Danville School District 118. He was a 1981 graduate of North Vermillion High School and a member of the Local Operating Engineers. David's pride and joy were his sons. He was their biggest fan while watching them play football and wrestling. You could always hear Dave's voice cheering them on.
Cremation was accorded. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. EST Thursday, Dec. 21, 2017, at the Perrysville American Legion Post #350, 197 East Adams Street.
