Dana Belle Aydt, 86, of McLeansboro died at 8:45 a.m. Friday, July 18, 2014, at Enfield Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Enfield, Ill. She had worked for the State of Illinois as a kitchen technician. Mrs. Aydt was born February 17, 1928 in McLeansboro. She was the daughter of Noah and Ruth (Rockett) Munsell. She belonged to the First Presbyterian Church of McLeansboro. Dana loved to travel and was a past member of Manteno, Ill. Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Survivors include two sons: Penny and wife Linda VanWinkle of McLeansboro and Dale VanWinkle of Aledo, Ill., six grandchildren: Travis, Justin, Jason, Deidra, Scott and Jill, 15 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Dana Belle Aydt were held Monday, July 21, 2014, at 1 p.m. at the Harre Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Sefried officiating. Burial was in I.O.O.F. Cemetery in McLeansboro. She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and three sisters. Harre Funeral Home of McLeansboro was in charge of all the arrangements.
