WILLIAMSPORT, Ind. - Charles "Chuck" E. Hall, 60, of rural Williamsport, passed away at 4:41 p.m. EST Saturday, Nov. 5, 2016, in the emergency room of St. Vincent Williamsport Hospital.
Charles was born in Danville, Ill., on April 15, 1956. He was the son of Doris M. (Tabor) Hall Collins of State Line and the late Harold Eugene Hall.
He was raised in the West Lebanon area and has lived most of his life in Warren County. He graduated from Seeger Memorial High School in 1975.
Charles had worked as a mechanic at Johnson's in West Lebanon and later ran his own mechanic shop called Chuck's Repair. For the past 20 years, Charles worked at Caterpillar in Lafayette, Ind., retiring in 2015.
Charles had attended State Line Church of the Nazarene. He enjoyed spending time with his family along with fishing and camping. He had served for many years as a volunteer fireman for the West Lebanon Fire Department.
He was first married to Linda Hardy in State Line. To this union they had two sons, Shaun Hall and Wayne (Ashley Norfleet) Hall, both of Lafayette, Ind. He later married Brenda S. Stout on June 26, 2010, in the Williams Chapel, Johnsonville, Ind.
He leaves behind his wife, Brenda, of six years; his mother, Doris Collins, State Line; a daughter, Clistna Stout, Vermont; a brother, David (Rebecca) Hall, Williamsport; and a sister, Lois (Tim) Fellure, Williamsport. They had seven grandchildren, Ashlyn Stout, Chase Stout, Gabriel Stephens and McKinzie Soto were being raised in the home; Kevin Hall, Bella Hall and Tyler Hall all reside in Lafayette. He was preceded in death by a son, Risty Stout, along with his father, Harold E. Hall.
Friends may call 4-8 p.m. EST Wednesday, Nov. 9, at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, Ind. Services will be at 11 a.m. EST Thursday, Nov. 10, at the funeral home with Rick Zehr officiating. Burial will follow in Jordan Cemetery, Pence, Ind.
