Carol Fae Myers Carol Fae Myers, 85, of Westville, passed away at 11:40 a.m. Sunday, October 7, 2018, with her family by her side at Colonial Manor Nursing Home, Danville.
She was born April 14, 1933, in Danville, the daughter of Walter and Elizabeth (Murrell) Taylor.
She was united in marriage to Robert Allen Myers on October 7, 1951, in Westville, until his passing.
She is survived by her son, Robert (Tammy) Myers Jr. of Westville; her daughter, Brenda (Bruce) Hinman of Westville; her grandchildren, Robert (Libby) Myers III, Christi Denton, Casey Cook and Brandy Williams; and her great-grandchildren, Thomas and Tyler Tosh, Taylor Flessner, Taryn Boland, Aubrie Jenkins, Gwen Bennett, Joseph Myers, Logan Hinman, Mikey Williams and Addison Tosh. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her daughter, Debbie Myers; and one sister, Loretta Golsynski.
Carol was a great homemaker for her children and was known to love going to her grandchildren's events. She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Westville and Christian Women's Fellowship.
Carol cherished her family and spending time with them, especially with her grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
A Celebration of Carol's life will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday, October 10, at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, 414 S. State St., Westville, with Pastor James Blue officiating. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Wednesday prior to her service at the funeral home. She will later be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Park, Danville.
