Carl Gene Kammin, 73, of Danville, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2017 at Presence United Samaritans Medical Center. He was born Dec. 2, 1943, in Danville, the son of Charles and Mary (Hart) Kammin.
He married Ruby "Sue" DeMoss Waddell Feb. 6, 1960. She preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
Carl is survived by a son, Charlie Kammin of Oklahoma City, Okla.; two daughters, Janice (Steve) Parsons of Cottageville, S.C. and Sally (Eric) Middleton of Williamsport, Ind.; two sisters; several nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three close friends.
Memorial services will be at noon Monday, Jan. 23, at Farmers Chapel United Methodist Church with Pastor Jan Reeder officiating. Burial will follow at Mann's Chapel Cemetery south of Rossville. Memorial Gathering will be from 11 a.m. to noon Monday at the church.
