Bridget L. Smith-Klugow, 36, passed away on December 28, 2017.
She was born on March 17, 1981, to Carl and Glenda Smith. They survive.
Also surviving are her son, Emmit Lee Klugow; her son's father, Justen Klugow; brother, Jeremy (Stefanie) Smith; sister, Patrina Smith; one niece, Emalee Smith; two nephews, Jace Smith and Blake Smith; aunt and uncle, Rick and Juanita McCoy; along with many cousins.
Bridget was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Glen and Carol Hall; and her paternal grandparents, Jess and Mary Smith.
Bridget loved to exercise and walking her dogs. People often called her Elly May Clampett. She had a flair for telling crazy stories. Her coworkers loved to sit down and listen to the countless stories she had.
She loved being a mother and was involved in many of Emmit's school activities. Bridget was a loving daughter, mother and sister. She will be greatly missed.
A Celebration of Life Service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 3940 N. Vermilion St., Danville. Officiating the service will be Ron Godly. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, January 2, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park in Danville.
