PERRYSVILLE, IND. - Brenda D. Newlin, 59, of Perrysville, passed away at 9:20 a.m. EST Saturday, Nov. 19, 2016 at the Waters of Covington in Covington, Ind.
She was born Aug. 12, 1957, in Clinton, Ind., the daughter of the late Norma Lee (Dunham) Marxmiller and Jerry Dean Marxmiller, Sr.
Brenda married Harry H. Newlin on Feb. 26, 1977 in Johnsville, Ind. He survives.
Other survivors include her son, Travis Newlin of Perrysville, Ind.; step-mother, Maxine Marxmiller of Covington, Ind.; one sister, Linda (Jim) Jones of Hendersonville, Tenn.; two brothers, Jerry (Bethany) Marxmiller, Jr. of Huron, Ohio and Chris (Lori) Marxmiller of Atlanta, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.
Brenda was preceded in death by her sister, Darla Hughes and one nephew, Christian Marxmiller.
Brenda attended Mount Carmel Baptist Church, south of Covington. She was a 1976 graduate of Covington High School. Brenda enjoyed playing bingo, gardening, racing, especially the Boswell (Indiana) and Vermilion County (Illinois) dirt tracks and demolition derbies. She was also very fond of her dog, Rowdy.
