Audrey Nell Pryer, 90, of McLeansboro, passed away 1:15 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2016, at McLeansboro Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, McLeansboro.
Visitation was 12 to 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 2, 2016 at Harre Funeral Home, McLeansboro.
Funeral was 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 2, 2016, at Harre Funeral Home, McLeansboro with the Rev. Jim Peak officiating.
Burial was at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, McLeansboro.
She was born Sept. 8, 1926, in Clarksdale, the daughter of John Neal and Pearl (Pierson) Neal. She married Harold Pryer on Dec. 22, 1945, in Decatur; he passed way on Jan. 24, 2003.
She was a homemaker and worked for Hi Flier Kite Mfg., Decatur. She also was a store clerk for Food Park and C&K. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, McLeansboro, the Inquirers Class and the Wesleyn Service Guild. She also loved doing crafts, walking and participating and watching ALL sports.
She is survived by three sons, Rod Pryer, Longboat Key, Fla., Charlie Pryer and wife, Kathy, McLeansboro and Earl Pryer and wife Kathy, McLeansboro; six grandchildren, Ben Pryer, Denver, Jared Pryer and wife Melissa, McLeansboro, Amy Ping and husband Shane, McLeansboro, Adam Pryer and wife Raschel, McLeansboro, Aaron Pryer and wife Michelle, Waynesville, Mo., and Adrienne Green and husband Donny, McLeansboro; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one infant son, David Pryer; and sister, Helen Servi.
Memorial donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church, McLeansboro and will be accepted at Harre Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.
