Adeline "Addie"'s Story
Adeline "Addie" A. (Jones) Weston, 97, of Williamsport, Ind., went to be with the Lord at 1 a.m. EST Wednesday, December 13, 2017, at Williamsport Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Addie was born April 11, 1920, in Rossville, Ill. She was the daughter of Morris and Ruth (Hall) Jones. She attended Rossville schools.
On August 5, 1939, she married Everett Ivan Weston in Covington, Ind. He preceded her in death on November 2, 1991.
Addie farmed with her husband and was a retired beautician. She was a member of West Lebanon Christian Church, the OES Chapter 162 West Lebanon and Home Economics Club. She enjoyed crocheting and cooking.
Surviving are two children, Don Weston (Jackie) of Williamsport, Ind., and Tom Weston (Sue) of Marshfield, Ind.; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Weston of West Lebanon, Ind.; sibling, Ed Jones (Phyliss) of Hoopeston, Ill; sister-in-law, Phyliss Jones of Kingman, Ind.; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Addie was preceded in death by her husband; infant sister, Patsy Jones; siblings, George Jones, Morris Jones Jr., Mary Ann Sinclair, Robert Jones, Emma Leak and Charles Jones; and son, Larry Weston.
Visitation will be noon until services at 2 p.m. EST Sunday, December 17, at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport with Minister Bruce Thornsbrough officiating. Interment will follow at West Lebanon Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the West Lebanon Christian Church.
